3- 4 piece band
The 3 piece band of fiddle, accordion and drums is our normal traditional band set up. Great for any size of event. This will bring a full and textured sound perfect for any wedding, birthday or similar event. If desired for a 4 piece we can also add second accordion or keyboard for an even fuller sound.
2 piece band
The 2 piece band of accordion and drums has a remarkably full sound. This is because the accordion is fitted with a midi adaptation so it can play bass, chords and melody. The drums give the rhythm we all love! This set up is great for a smaller event or those on a budget. For those really looking at a minimal setup David can do calling with backing tracks, although there is still something special about the live sound!
Fully equipped
We bring all our equipment with us and can also work with clients to do DJ sets and background music if needed. We can also provide microphones for speeches and try to work with clients to make their event the best ceilidh experience it can be.
Ready to travel
If you are looking for a Ceilidh band in Edinburgh or Fife or even further afield we have our own transport and will bring all equipment needed. Expenses will obviously be factored into the price for playing a Ceilidh further afield in Scotland or a ceilidh abroad.
